Starry Night

Starry Night is a professional astronomy telescope control software that allows users to visualize stars and exoplanets in 3D. The software also comes with a complete database with 36,000 objects that have been cross-referenced from various catalogs and are up-to-date.

Availability

Licensing for Starry Night must be purchased by departments. Contact the HelpDesk to learn more about the licensing process. Starry Night is supported on Windows and MacOS platforms. For on-campus use, the program is installed on computers in astrophysics lab BSB E333.
