In addition, we offer a variety of equipment to check out for digital media production including DSLR cameras, microphones, lighting kits, and more. We also offer a variety of learning opportunities if you’re curious about the possibilities of media creation. Sign up for a Media Lab workshop and learn together with fellow Bears!
Makerspace
The Moody Makerspace inhabits over 2000 sq. ft. on the Garden Level of Moody Library and boasts a wide range of tools and equipment, including 3D printers, laser cutters, a CNC router, vinyl cutters, soldering station, bike repair, sewing and embroidery, craft supplies, hand tools, and, of course, plenty of work tables with ceiling-mounted power! A full listing of equipment, as well as open hours, can be found on the Moody Makerspace website. For what we can’t accomplish in the Garden Level, the Moody Makerspace also offers limited passes to the Maker’s Edge Makerspace in downtown Waco, where you’ll find additional equipment for activities like pottery, metalwork, and screen-printing!
