Android Setup Instructions
To connect your Android device to Baylor's AirBear WPA2 wireless network, do the following:
- Open Network Settings on your Android device.
- Click on the AIRBEAR WPA2 network
- Select PEAP Authentication
- From the next set of options provided, select MSCHAPV2.
- Under Certificate, select the TOFU (Trust on First Use) option.
- Click Trust on the pop-up window that appears when you select this option.
- Enter your BearID (e.g., Betty_Baylor1) in the Identity and Anonymous fields
- Enter your current BearID password in the Password field
- Now, open Advanced Settings and indicate that you want to Use the MAC address for the device.
If your Android device does not have a data plan as part of your cell service and you are not currently connected to a verified wireless network, you may not be able to complete Step #5 above.
