Pro Tools

Pro Tools is a digital audio workstation (DAW) developed and released by Avid Technology. It is used for music creation and production, sound for picture (sound design, audio-post production, and mixing), sound recording, editing, and mastering processes.

Availability

Licensing for Pro Tools must be purchased by departments. Departments that are interested in purchasing licensing should contact the HelpDesk to learn more about the licensing process. Pro Tools is supported on Windows and MacOS platforms.
