PawPrints Advanced User Guide

PawPrints enables more advanced users (and administrators) to do some pretty cool things. Here is a list of more advanced features possible on the PawPrints platform.

1. Append the following to https://print.baylor.edu/ to access the following features of the platform:
   • mr = mobile release
   • user = user login. environmental impact, release, history, refunds, chat
   • admin = for administrators only
   • release = release for admins
2. The PawPrints app has the following features in our campus environment:
   • The app is installed on all public computers and is part of the PawPrints installer.
   • You should keep the app running to get quick access to balance, history, refunds, and notifications.
   • PawPrints notifications will:
     • Alert you if and why your job didn't go through.
     • Remind you when your balance is low.
     • Tell you when refunds are approved.
3. For the more adventurous, try Zero-Install Printing
   • Email to Print
     Any device that can send Baylor email can print. Simply email your job to the queue you want, verify the job when PawPrints emails you back, and release as you do every other job
     
     The email addresses for each printer queue is as follows:
     • PawPrints_1sided@baylor.edu
     • PawPrints_2sided@baylor.edu
     • PawPrintsColor_1sided@baylor.edu
     • PawPrintsColor_2sided@baylor.edu
   • Web Print
     Upload your document to a campus queue using any web browser
     • Log in to your PawPrints user account and select Web Print from the menu on the left.
     • Choose queue, copies, and document (even drag and drop multiple documents).
     • Release at destination printer.
   • Email to Print and Web Print are compatible with filetypes of PDF, Office, OpenOffice, JPG, PNG, TIF.
