MATLAB Student Installation Instructions
- Visit the MathWorks site to create an account, link it to Baylor University's license, and download MATLAB. Select the "Use MATLAB Online" option on the page that appears when you click this link.
- If you already have a MathWorks account that is associated with Baylor, skip these initial steps and simply log in to your existing account.
- Enter "Baylor University" and your full Baylor email address (e.g., Bobby_Baylor@baylor.edu) into the online form that appears, click Submit. You will receive an email from MathWorks asking you to verify your email address.
- Next, either log in to your existing MathWorks account or create a new one.
- If you create a new account, when you submit the enrollment form you will receive an email that indicates that Baylor's license is linked to your MathWorks Account.
- On your MathWorks account page, you should see a button you can click to install MATLAB. If you do not see the button, click the matrix menu in the upper-right corner of your MathWorks account page and select MATLAB from the options. The menu is next to a circle that contains your initials.
- From here, you can either use MATLAB Online or Install MATLAB on your Windows or MacOS device.
- If you elect to install MATLAB on your device, you will be asked to log in with your MathWorks account so that you can associate the software with the existing license. You may need this activation key as part of the installation process: 12799-30176-83550-40139-38294
