Microsoft Teams Calls Information Sessions offered 10/26 and 10/29
Baylor has been on a journey of upgrading our communications technology to a modern, cloud-based environment for a few years. Now, we are taking the final step in that journey by decommissioning our Nortel-based desk phones and fully utilizing Microsoft Teams for calling, meetings, and collaboration.
Teams Calls brings the functionality of your desk phone to your computer and other devices. In addition to the many ways you already use Teams, with Calls you will be able to:
- Make local and long-distance calls and receive calls from off-campus
- Manage times when you are available to receive calls
- Easily forward and transfer calls
- ...and much more!
You can start preparing for your transition to Teams Calls now by signing up for an upcoming virtual Introduction to Microsoft Teams Calls session on either Tuesday, October 26, at 3:00 p.m. CDT or Friday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m. CDT. Click here to register for one of these virtual sessions.
