Parallels

Parallels Desktop for Mac lets you seamlessly run Windows and Mac OS X side-by-side, drag-and-drop your files between operating systems, and run Windows software on your Apple computer without rebooting.

Availability 

Parallels is available to faculty, staff and students. Contact HelpDesk+ to put in a ticket to have Parallels and the Windows OS installed on a Baylor-owned Mac. Windows installations on departmental Macs are held to the same guidelines as Windows on departmental PCs and must meet the same security requirements. Additionally, Parallels is available for a discounted price at the Baylor Bookstore for use on a home computer. 

Parallels is available for Apple processors (M1 or M2) with some limitations. See the Limitations Page.
